About me

Being a member of EGI means for me having the courage to follow one’s intuition and walk the unknown with the intention to contribute to a better world. Yet, courage is not always something given, it needs to be cultivated and supported, and the EGI community does just that – it provides a safe space for us to learn, share and experiment on this path together.

I’m an Art of Hosting practitioner and co-founder of the Impact Hub Geneva, a collaborative space for social impact, and work to support people and organisations to collaborate effectively for positive social and environmental impact. Having witnessed a number of innovative initiatives fail to reach their full potential due to a lack collaboration and disengagement, I’ve set out on a journey to explore and learn participatory and co-creative tools and processes that bring out the best in all parties involved, making “the whole greater than the sum of it’s part’.

Originally from Finland, I have been working with NGOs and international organisations in the field of human rights and humanitarian affairs in a number of different contexts, ranging from Mongolia to Senegal. I hold a MSc in Human rights from the London School of Economic and an MA in International Relations from the University of St.Andrews.
