Journal of the Future is an innovative new tool for organizations and start-ups to streamline the connection between vision and strategy and gain more clarity about next steps. This two-day workshop gives you an opportunity to experience how Journal of the Future can serve your clients and teams.
Become an active protagonist in your own story and participate in the creation of a vision that uses a unique method called “backcasting.” This approach brings immediate clarity to a proposed idea or project and reduces the emotional obstacles that can get in the way of realizing a desired future.
Doubt and fear are most common when implementing new ideas and strategies and, without the comfort of certainty, decision-making and implementation can become a long and complex process. Journal of Future is a fun and simple way to tap into your own intuitive resources and shift from a feeling of uncertainty to an exciting opportunity to experience a future with hindsight.
On the first day, you will give shape to a desired future in the envisioning process and create a video sketch of what you envision. On the second day, you will have an opportunity to observe your video and identify the people and resources that will become instrumental in the realization of your vision. A complete Journal of the Future will be created by the group, using a full cast of characters, in a second video.
